At the "Dance into May" in 2025, we were privileged to be part of a special cultural event, organized by the go plastics company and Festspielhaus Hellerau.

With our piece "Emotions in Motion," we demonstrated what pole dance means to us: Pole dance has its roots in the strip clubs of the world – an origin that has significantly shaped and developed this art form and deserves to be celebrated. But beyond its sensually seductive side, this dance form today encompasses a multitude of other styles and forms of expression. It offers space for every emotion – be it anger or joy, vulnerability or strength, longing or happiness. Pole dance combines acrobatics with dance, strength with expression, elegance with passion. In the performance, solo, duo, and group choreographies by the members of the Free Dresden Pole Dance Training Community Minor e.V. merge into a fluid whole. Between the floor and the pole, a dance unfolded that shows that pole dance seduces, but also touches – powerful and full of emotion.
